I think the type of company that would distribute my magazine would be IPC media. IPC Media produces over 85 iconic media brands, with there print brands alone reaching almost two thirds of UK women and 44% of UK men. Their online brands reach over 20 million users each month! They are a huge company and they would be perfect to publish my magazine.
I would like to think that my magazine is similar to a lot of popular music magazines currently available. I wanted my magazine to be similar to Q magazine, Q is my favourite magazine I think simply because it covers such a large genre of music and really attracts a large audience.
NME of course is IPC's biggest success, with it being one of the biggest music magazines around at the moment. I think my magazine would fit in well with IPC because it is well linked with NME. Please take a look at the image below to view the similarities between mine and NME.
